Richard Prayoga
Director, Producer & Dance Filmmaker — documenting and shaping Singapore's screendance scene from behind the camera and from within it.
It started with RPProds
RPProds is where this all began. Founding it in 2014 opened the doors into Singapore's dance community, and a decade later it's still the base everything else — Groove Guide, the Lion City Dance Film Festival, the teaching and mentorship work — has grown out of. It's let me produce across a wide range of formats for the dance community: event coverage, social content, narrative dance film, and institutional documentary work.

Founder, Lion City Dance Film Festival
Built Singapore's platform dedicated to dance film as its own art form — giving local and regional screendance work a curated public screening, at a time when the form had no dedicated home in the local arts calendar.
This sits alongside a decade of paid production work as an ongoing act of community-building: growing an audience and a practitioner base for screendance in a market where it's still an emerging category.
